1. Precision Fluid Connectors (EV Cooling/Fuel Line Joints)
The Challenge: These components are typically molded from highly glass-filled materials (e.g., PA66-GF30) which are highly abrasive to mold steel. Moreover, any minor parting line mismatch or flash can cause devastating fluid leakage in high-pressure EV cooling loops.
Our Tooling Solution: We utilized premium imported ASSAB S136 / 2344 steel hardened to HRC 48-52 to resist wear. The core and cavity inserts were machined using Makino High-Speed CNC and Sodick EDM to guarantee a micron-level tolerance ($\pm0.005mm$). Advanced Moldflow analysis was performed to position the injection gates perfectly, minimizing weld lines and warp.
2. Advanced Overmolded Fasteners (Metal-to-Plastic Insert Molding)
The Challenge: Ensuring perfect bonding between the metal fasteners and the engineering plastic shell while preventing insert displacement during high-pressure injection molding cycles.
Our Production Solution: Our engineering team designed custom slide mechanisms and automated insert loading fixtures.
